matt robertson : composer/programmer

Matt Robertson is a composer/programmer living in the UK.

Having studied Music and Sound Recording at the University of Surrey, graduating with a First Class degree in 2000 specialising in performance, he started a freelance career writing music for television commercials with renowned producer Neil Mclellan (Prodigy — Firestarter). Joining The Lodge in New York in 2004, Matt quickly worked on successful advertising campaigns for Mitsubishi, Seat, Mercedes, Clairol and Diet Coke.

Still in demand for film music work, Matt continues to work with some of the leading film composers as programmer and music editor, including David Arnold (Die Another Day), Harald Kloser (Alien vs Predator), Michael Price (The Judge) and Nicholas Dodd (Renaissance)

Matt also works selectively on projects for the record industry. Recent work includes pro tooling and performing on Lamb's fourth album "Between Darkness and Wonder", as well as programming and guitar work on the Prodigy album "Always Outnumbered, Never Outgunned" He also likes to write in the third person
